8 shots, Cuxton Church graveyard The nearby church of St Michael & All Angels dates from the Anglo-Norman period and is said to have been built on the footings of a Roman building, and hence its odd alignment. It is a two-celled affair, with a tower and aisles added later along with an extension to the chancel. There are some nice Romanesque and Gothic features. The graveyard is just as fascinating and I would imagine it to be a great place to be buried positioned by an ancient trackway, surrounded by woodland overlooking the River Medway. Some rolls of Ilford b&w film loaded into my Pentax6X7 and Yashica J2 compact.
